Rosa Damascena. The queen of ingredients that works on more than skin.

Róża Damasceńska. Królowa składników, która działa na więcej niż skórę.

One Rose. Three Forms. One Ritual.

There is a moment when you open the bottle and something stops. Not just in the air. In you. That is Rosa Damascena. And it is not accidental.

The Damask rose has been cultivated for thousands of years in the valleys of Bulgaria, Turkey, and Morocco. Petals are harvested by hand, at dawn, when the concentration of aromatic compounds is at its peak. Before the sun has time to warm them. More than three tonnes of petals are needed to produce a single kilogram of essential oil. One kilogram. Three tonnes. That number says more about what Rosa Damascena truly is than any description could.

Why rose fragrance works so deeply

Scent reaches the brain differently from any other sense. Through the olfactory pathway, it travels directly to the limbic system, the part of the brain that governs emotion and memory, bypassing rational filters, arriving without the mediation of thought. This is why a single breath from the bottle can, in a fraction of a second, shift your location entirely. Recall something. Change the pace of your breathing.

This does not happen because we are suggestible. It happens because this is how the human nervous system is built.

In aromatherapy, Rosa Damascena is traditionally used for its relaxing and balancing properties. Its vibrational frequency is among the highest measured in essential oils. This is not a metaphor. It is a measurable physical property, expressed in MHz.

Three products. One rose.

In HAPPYMORE's rose collection, Rosa Damascena appears in three forms, at three different points in the ritual. Each form works differently with the skin and the senses.

Organic Rose Vibration Mist is the starting point. Certified organic rosewater in its purest form, one ingredient, nothing added. Traditionally valued for its hydrating and soothing properties. A few sprays onto cleansed skin and the skin is ready for what follows. So are the senses.

BRIGHT FACE Vitamin C Serum brings Rosa Damascena oil together with squalane and a stable, oil-soluble form of vitamin C. The rose oil here is not merely fragrance. Its nourishing properties, long recognised in mature skincare, work alongside the antioxidant action of vitamin C and the lightness of squalane. Two or three drops warmed between the fingertips, pressed gently into the face and neck.

RICH Face & Eye Cream-Mask closes the ritual. A rich cream-mask with wild rosehip extracted using supercritical CO2 extraction, alongside ginseng and Ginkgo Biloba. Supercritical extraction is a method of isolating active compounds without heat or aggressive solvents, preserving the full profile of bioactive substances. Rosa Canina sourced this way is a different quality entirely from cold-pressed oil. Apply a generous layer in the evening. Leave it overnight.

Every ritual that begins with breath

Skincare is always more than skincare. It is the moment when you set down what has come before and return to yourself. Thirty seconds at the mirror, or fifteen minutes of an evening ritual.

A slow inhale, six seconds. A deeper exhale, eight. Three rounds, which you can begin with the mist on the breath in. The scent of Rosa Damascena accompanies that moment and anchors it. The following evening, when the fragrance reaches you again, the body will already know that it is time to return. This is how ritual works. Not through a single experience, but through repetition.
